CATHOLICISM: This 10 week video series on the faith, each video is about 45 minutes long with time for questions afterward. This shows a large variety of Christian sites and gives a good overview of Catholic belief. One group will meet w/ Msgr. Huber on Thursdays  at 7pm in the church hall. Tony and Cyndi Ojeda will host people at their home on Sundays at 7pm. You are welcome to join any week you are able.

Holy Father's Intentions

May victims of natural disasters receive the spiritual and material comfort they need to rebuild their lives.

That the dedication of Christians to peace may bear witness to the name of Christ before all people of good will.

Worship of the Eucharist

The worship due to the sacrament of the Eucharist, whether during the celebration of the Mass or outside it, is the worship of latria, that is, the adoration given to God alone. The Church guards with the greatest care Hosts that have been consecrated. She brings them to the sick and to other persons who find it impossible to participate at Mass. She also presents them for the solemn adoration of the faithful and she bears them in processions. The Church encourages the faithful to make frequent visits to adore the Blessed Sacrament reserved in the tabernacle.

How is Jesus present in the Eucharist?
Jesus Christ is present in the Eucharist in a unique an incomparable way. He is present in a true, real and substantial way, with his Body and his Blood, with his Soul and his Divinity. In the Eucharist, therefore, there is present in a sacramental way, that is under the Eucharistic species of bread and wine, Christ whole and entire, God and Man.

Does the breaking of the bread divide Christ?
The breaking of the bread does not divide Christ. He is present whole and entire in each of the Eucharistic species and in each of their parts.

How long does the presence of Christ last in the Eucharist?
The presence of Christ continues in the Eucharist as long as the Eucharistic species subsist.

Who is the minister for the celebration of the Eucharist? The celebrant is a validly ordained priest or bishop who acts in the Person of Christ the Head and in the name of the Church.

ACT OF FAITH: O my God, I firmly believe that You are one God in three divine persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; I believe that Your Divine Son became Man, and died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches because You have revealed them, Who can neither deceive nor be deceived.

ACT OF HOPE: O my God, relying on Your almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain pardon for my sins, the help of Your grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.

ACT OF LOVE: O my God, I love You above all things with my whole heart and soul, because You are all-good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of You. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
